Côte Brasserie opens in Watford
Côte are delighted to be opening an elegant Parisian-style brasserie in Watford on Monday 25th February 2019 from 8am.
Located on the high street, Côte Brasserie have spent £900,000 on the refurbishment, they have retained the listed façade, retaining the heritage of the building. The restaurant will accommodate 130 guests inside and 16 in their outdoor seating. Serving authentic French dishes made from fresh, quality ingredients, the setting in Watford makes Côte Brasserie the perfect place for leisurely breakfasts, relaxed family meals and special celebration dinners.

The General Manager of Côte Brasserie Watford, Sarah Vandenbrekel, is particularly excited by the opportunity, having worked for three years within Watford. “I am really looking forward to being part of a new opening restaurant and introducing Cote Brasserie to our community; everyone I have met has been so incredibly charming and friendly. Guests will always find classic brasserie favourites, prepared by our chefs in the kitchen, such as Steak Frites, Tuna Niçoise and chargrilled corn-fed Breton Chicken on the menu. There’s a tempting selection of desserts on offer and Côte’s must try Crème Caramel is a much-loved house speciality. The wine list is extensive and informative, yet reasonably priced, featuring wines from a variety of producers across France. Côte Brasserie also pride themselves in being able to offer both Vegetarian and Gluten Free variations of the menu.
Côte’s commitment to sourcing high quality ingredients can be seen in the seasonal dishes featured in the monthly specials and weekday set menus, ensuring there is always something new to delight both regular and first-time guests. During the week you can enjoy two courses for £11.50 and £13.50 for three, ideal for a quick lunch or relaxed early evening meal until 7pm. In the evening you can also dine from the Prestige Set Menu, offering seasonal and signature Côte classics with two courses for £15.95 and £18.95 for three. Popular dishes include Pork Rillettes - hand-shredded pork rillettes seasoned with brandy, wholegrain mustard and thyme. served with sourdough toast and cornichons. Pork Tenderloin - Pan roasted pork tenderloin with wild mushrooms, crème fraiche gratin potato and veal and thyme jus.
The same care and attention to detail applies to Côte’s breakfast menus; you will find that everything from the artisanal French jams on the tables to the Guérande sea-salted butter served with the freshly baked croissants has been carefully considered. The renowned Eggs Benedict with homemade Hollandaise, is a favourite, and is offered alongside a section of dishes such as the classic Croque Monsieur and French breakfast, which includes an award-winning boudin noir. Served until midday on weekdays and, for a long lazy breakfast, until 1pm at weekends.
